European Studies
Europe is changing rapidly. Over the past 20 years the map of Europe has had new borders, and new conflicts have arisen, while other partitions have disappeared. Today co-operation and dialogue are in focus. The European integration has an influence on development - not just internationally and nationally, but also regionally. In addition there is co-operation across and despite of borders.
With the new study programme in European Studies, you will have the opportunity of following, understanding, and contributing to the development in Europe - in the past, in the present, and in the future.
The programme, which is international - and which is expected to draw students from all over the world - focuses mainly on regional development. During the programme you will study business economics, political science, geography, and cultural subjects. You will also be offered excellent opportunities for studying abroad or be given the opportunity of obtaining an internship.
The three-year long Bachelor programme is offered at the University of Southern Denmark in Sønderborg. The two-year long Master programme is offered at Flensburg University. Both programmes give an insight into relevant European themes within the disciplines of social science and the humanities.
